Calling all bookworms of the Berkshires!

Join us for the second edition of our book club on Thursday March 28 from 6-8pm, hosted at Rebelle! This month we will  explore the rich narrative tapestry of Redwood Court by the talented author Délana R. A. Dameron.

Embark on a journey with Mika Tabor, the youngest member of a vibrant family, as she grows up on Redwood Court, a cul-de-sac nestled in a Black working-class suburb of Columbia, South Carolina. Through Mika’s eyes, we witness the struggles and triumphs of her loved ones: hardworking parents juggling multiple jobs, an older sister forging her own path amidst Motown melodies, and grandparents who dared to dream in the face of Jim Crow, creating a legacy on the Court.
